Last year the 2018 Construction Computing Awards were announced at Portman Hotel in Central London. Over 250 supporting guests gathered to see the outcome of the readers on line voting and judging panel’s deliberations. The evening started with a Champagne reception sponsored by Asite which allowed everyone to catch up with old friends and start to make new ones. 

Affectionately known as "The Hammers" and now in their 14th year, the Construction Computing Awards showcase and reward the technology, tools and solutions for the effective design, construction, maintenance and modification of commercial buildings, residential and social housing and civil engineering projects of all sizes. The Little Britain Challenge Cup is the property and construction industry’s annual sailing regatta - the No.1 AEC Industry Sailing Event in the UK. This year 2019 will be the 32nd edition and will take place on 13th-14th September.

BIM Level 2 provides important foundations that will help enable delivery of a future digital economy, it is therefore vitally important that the construction industry continue their progress towards delivery of BIM Level 2 as business as usual and it is for this reason the roundtable series is being held.

It is a two-day regatta that is now based at Shepards Wharf Marina, West Cowes. Little Britain is always organised in early September and this year, the regatta celebrates its 30th anniversary. Manage Project Templates in Adoddle View: You can now manage the template folder structure along with meta data from Adoddle view.

Support for Folder Level Metadata Configuration: Administrators now have an ability to apply specific attribute values to folders. This allows you to control the list of metadata values available to the users when publishing documents.

Filter files associated to specific form: You can now isolate files associated to a form on a button click and perform your batch actions on them – talk about time saving!!!

Support for Geo-tagging your files from a map: You can now Geo Tag your files when they are published. You can make this available by applying map based configurable attribute.

Automatic conversion of reviewed files to pdf: You can now set your workflow processes to have reviewed files automatically converted to pdf and made available as a new revision. This is available via a new System action automating the process of converting completed mark-ups, comments and signatures in native file formats to PDF.

Support for Italian language: Adoddle now supports Italian language within its interface.

New Features in Adoddle Field:

Support of copying of Defects / Snags in Plan view: Users are now able to copy a defect / snag in the Plan view making it easier to log similar defects.

Actioning from email notifications received your mobile devices: You can now complete your actions by tapping links received in email notifications on your devices - completing your actions on the go made easier! 

Discontinuation of Web Mobile Version: Asite Web Mobile Version (cMOB) will be discontinued after Release 19.9. Moving forward only the Adoddle Field app will be supported on mobile devices.

Support for Clash Detection in Federated Models: Adoddle users can now carry out Clash Detection on Federated Models using Adoddle Navigator. This enables users to get first-hand information which helps them to identify and inspect hard and soft clashes on which users can collaborate real time using Project Forms.

Extensions to the Information Delivery Plan (IDP) product:Adoddle IDP, which lets you manage delivery of information during the project lifecycle, has been extended to support automated workflows and automatic creation of placeholders in compliance with PAS1192-2/3.

Adoddle 2D web viewer in all new User Interface (Beta Version): A completely new user interface of Adoddle 2D Web Viewer is offered as a Beta Version

Improvements to Form User Interface (Beta Version): Adoddle is offering a Beta Version of new improved Form user interface. This new user interface has a single page view with dockable sections, easier Form distribution and simplified navigation.

Support for searching Blank values: Adoddle users can now search for blank values within all custom attributes as well as system attributes listed in the Files & Forms area. This facility enables users to filter records where the value in such attributes are not set.

Option to disable “Print and download”while sharing Adoddle link: A new option “Print and download” is included while using the existing Share Adoddle Link functionality. This option can be used where users want to give sneak preview of work done without allowing recipients to print or download the file.

Recent Defects in Adoddle Field: The Defects module is improved to allow users to create new defects from recent defects. Users can also copy a defect by swiping right to create a new defect.
