The BIM Middle East 2021 Conference & Expo is the region’s largest event dedicated to BIM and is being held on the 6th & 7th of September, at the Crowne Plaza Dubai.
The one-and-a-half-day event will help to bring together both the BIM and AEC communities and the government and private sectors, to one unique forum.
Stakeholders from all areas of construction will participate, with attendees ranging from contractors and developers to infrastructure operators and technology providers. Guests will travel from across the globe to gain insight, share ideas and build their networks.
This event will follow all government and safety guidelines as issued by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai (DTCM).
Enabling Digital Transformation
The event theme is ‘Enabling Digital Transformation’ providing attendees with the opportunity to discover more about the latest developments in BIM and digital engineering from project concept and design, through project management, and on to post-construction asset management. This will include a strategic level conference focusing on key regional issues and international developments.

buildingSMART has played an integral part in the organization and development of the BIM Middle East Conference since its inception in 2019. Last year's event saw the official launch of buildingSMART UAE, making it the first country in the Middle East to host a branch of buildingSMART International.

This year, he will carry out a presentation in person as well as participate in a panel discussion, on the first day of the event. A recording of Nathan's presentation will be available after the conference for those who are not able to attend in person.
