3D Repo is a browser-based BIM and digital twin platform which enables architects, engineers, and construction clients to identify and manage project risks within a collaborative 3D environment.
Custom workflows created in ACC Connect using the 3D Repo protocol can be triggered as soon as 3D models, including new versions, are added to Autodesk Build, Autodesk Docs, or BIM 360, meaning teams can get up and running with the 3D Repo toolset without manually uploading new or updated models.
3D Repo has over 100 Rest API endpoints that can be accessed via the HTTPS protocol, allowing you to further customise your integrations and increase the reliability of your data. Additionally, 3D models can be added using the 3D Repo Navisworks or Revit Plug-in.
“We are delighted to be closely collaborating with Autodesk on this new integration to help speed up a routine task faced by busy design and construction teams so they can spend more time creating and collaborating,” said Founder and CEO of 3D Repo, Dr Jozef Doboš.
“3D Repo has a long and ever-expanding list of useful integrations, and we look forward to continually adding value and streamlining the work of our users through our open BIM platform.”
“To stay on top of project risks, it’s important for teams to remain connected on their design and build plans,” said James Cook, head of integrations at Autodesk Construction Solutions.
“With the new integration, project teams leveraging both 3D Repo and Autodesk Construction Cloud can ensure they are collaborating on the most up to date design and building data to make informed project decisions and minimise risk.”
The new connector can be installed to Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect by following these steps.
