New Integration Streamlines Information Flows

London, UK, [19th December 2024 ] – Asite®, a leading Common Data Environment (CDE) platform for the construction industry, today announces the launch of a connector with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insights for construction teams. This new integration enhances collaboration across project teams by enabling the bi-directional exchange of construction documents between Asite and Autodesk® Build or Autodesk® Docs.

The construction industry faces the longstanding challenge of managing large volumes of project data across different systems and preventing information siloes. Previously, teams relied on manual download and upload processes to transfer documents between Autodesk Construction Cloud and Asite CDE, creating inefficiencies and an increased risk of errors, especially when handling multiple revisions.

The Autodesk Construction Cloud–Asite CDE integration automatically syncs updates made on either platform, ensuring that key stakeholders always have access to the latest information in both systems.

This streamlined process significantly reduces time spent on administrative tasks, allowing teams to focus on delivering projects more effectively. By breaking down barriers between the platforms, the connector ensures that data flows smoothly from design to construction and beyond.

“Asite’s CDE Connector for Autodesk Construction Cloud offers teams a simple, reliable way to manage project data,” said Denis Antony, senior vice president product management at Asite. “By integrating Autodesk Construction Cloud and Asite, we’re helping teams work more efficiently and maintain a consistent flow of information.”

“Construction teams benefit greatly from open ecosystems that allow stakeholders to use the technology that best meets their requirements,” said James Cook, director of technology & industry partnerships at Autodesk. “By integrating the construction documents that contractors trust to Autodesk Construction Cloud with Asite CDE, teams can build a highly collaborative environment for all stakeholders, which yields better construction outcomes."

This integration enhances data integrity and collaboration, ensuring smoother transitions across project stages. The Autodesk Construction Cloud connector helps teams centralize their systems and maintain a consistent flow of information within the Common Data Environment (CDE). Supporting projects of all sizes—from small-scale developments to some of the world’s most complex infrastructure projects—the integration streamlines workflows and fosters seamless information management.
